Today we are celebrating Viscountess Emma Weymouth. The mother of two, British Vogue contributor, model, tv presenter, chef and actor juggles an impressive list of roles while also being the chatelaine of Longleat, one of Britain's grandest country houses and home to the first safari park outside of Africa. Emma's stylish and entrepreneurial spirit redefines modern aristocracy. Discover more about Emma in our Q&A for our #galvanizeyourworldseries.

What’s a cause that is important to you?

We work closely with Tusk a wildlife Conservation charity who do incredible work and raise awareness of the most endangered species in the wild especially rhino and the plight they face for survival. We are part of various conservation initiatives including The International Koala Centre of Excellence which we launched at Cleland Wildlife Park in Australia before opening Koala Creek here at Longleat in order to protect the Southern Australian Koala and their habitat. My husband was made an Honorary Australian in recognition of Longleat’s Conservation work on Australia Day this year. After the devastating wild fires we sent two keepers to Austique to help the rescue programmes and set up donation funds to contribute to those working tirelessly to save the land and the injured animals.

What has motherhood taught you?

I am so grateful to be a mother. No two days are the same and our children never cease to amaze, entertain and challenge us as they grow. Everyone always tells me how fast the time flies!

What inspires your style?

I love Galvan’s simple elegant flattering pieces you can wear again and again. The signature jumpsuits have been firm favourites of mine for years. I have one in black and white and have worn them hundreds of times. They’re classic and timeless as are the slip dresses. The one I chose today is the most beautiful shade of nude rose gold which gives me joy the minute I see it sparkling in the light. I admire the four strong women who are behind this brand who continue to grow this brilliant business and are an inspiration with their initiative and creativity.

What’s your mantra?

My mantra is to definitely always be kind. Treat others as you want to be treated. I repeat this infinite times a day to my two sons (3 & 5 years old). Kindness is everything.
