Part of the Alicja Kwade x Galvan capsule collection, the Vanity Void coat is crafted from fine wool and features an intricate embroidery motif. The opening in the embroidery sits anatomically at the location of the human heart - a black hole, a vast void. It contrasts sharply with the vanity of the piece’s sequins embroidery and outward beauty, which simultaneously suggests an exploding eye or iris. Produced as two unique pieces, one displays the impact from the front and the other from the back, creating a dual perspective.
